Chris, The LIPD (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class Licence was modified in Aug 03 to rename Category 45 of Schedule 1 of the LIPD to "Digital Modulation Transmitters". In addition it also include to new "Digital Modulation Transmitters" Categories - Category 45A & 45B. Category 45B provides for Digital Modulation Transmitters in the frequency band between 5725 - 5850 MHz with a maximum EIRP of 4W. See the LIPD Class Licence from the ACA web site for further requirements.
