EN 50371 applies to all products where the average emitted power is equal
to or less than 20 mW,
it applies to all environments, and it applies to all applications.
The point I am pondering is that EN 50371 or any of its referenced
documents do not provide test
methods for measuring the exposure of humans to RF fields. EN 50371 only
provides exposure
limits.

General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration
laboratories
(ISO/IEC 17025 : 1999); Trilingual version EN ISO/IEC 17025 : 2000
This is a standard used in accrediting/assessing test labs.
2.)
EU Directives (new approach) do normally not specific technical details as
in the harmonized standards, listed in the official EU Gazette OJ, they
rather give legal/regulatory guidance.

This document provides exposure limits but does not provide test methods.

two other documents (EN ISO/IEC 17025 and Council Recommendation

12 July 1999) Neither of these documents have test methods nor do they
reference any
documents that do.
In this case, what test methods are valid? Or can you use any test method
that you deem
to be valid as long as you document the test method used?
