Dear Ed, I agree with you that we all prefer trade with no tricks, but except CCC Mark certification, other certification systems in China, such as Network Access License, Radio Type Approval, etc. are not clearly defined or, I shall say still in fine-tune stage. Being in this business for years, we know that telecom manufacturers can save lots of efforts and costs if they know how, or understand the "unwritten law". That was what I meant many tricks in the trade. As per current CCC implementation rules, all testing is required to be performed in China BY BOOK, but you may have heard CCC On-Site Testing program.
