Drew, In looking through my copy of the IATA "Dangerous Goods Regulations" I did not find anything on this type of device. But, depending on the type of battery there may be some things to look for. Outside of that the only other thing I know of is for magnetic devices. For example one of our parts has very strong magnets in it so in order to ship by air there is special labeling requirements for the package to ensure that it is stored in an area that will not affect magnetic navigational equipment.
