I tried a refill kit. Made a mess and the cartridge didn't work. Ink on hands for a week. Now I just use black cartridges and when the printer acts up I buy another cheap one. Disposable you know- I don't bother trying to fix much of anything anymore. I bought a used printer over E-bay with the same result. Both cartridges were almost empty with a mess in the bottom of the chassis. Cost $50 to replace the cartridges. That was the cost difference in a demo (used unit) and a new one. There are plenty of rocker switches around Silicon Valley. You need to measure the hole size and head for Anchor, ACE, Surplus Solutions, or Halted. Call me if you need addresses.
