Subject: GPIB interface card for HP 8591 Analyzer

        Hi Group

Is anyone in the business of supplying parts for HP/Agilent equipment
or can anyone recommend someone who is in the business of supplying parts for
HP/Agilent equipment (other than HP and Agilent of course).

I need a GPIB interface card for HP 8591 Analyzer.

        Any help is greatly appreciated

        Best regards

John:

I THINK you are asking for a plug-in card, or "personality module", that plugs
into the rear of the 8591, and carries a GPIB standard connector. HP's
nomenclature plan would have given this plug-in a completely distinct HP part
number, maybe something like "HP-8591xx-x".

If you find the exact number, start searching for it, especially on eBay. Also
try posting a "wanted" notice to some of the Usenet groups, like
sci.engineering.electronics, etc.
