Thanks Ed and everyone else for your input. You are on the button. My appologies to those I confused with my porely worded question.
John: I THINK you are asking for a plug-in card, or "personality module", that plugs into the rear of the 8591, and carries a GPIB standard connector. HP's nomenclature plan would have given this plug-in a completely distinct HP part number, maybe something like "HP-8591xx-x". If you find the exact number, start searching for it, especially on eBay. Also try posting a "wanted" notice to some of the Usenet groups, like sci.engineering.electronics, etc. Ed Ed Price [email protected] WB6WSN NARTE Certified EMC Engineer & Technician Electromagnetic Compatibility Lab Cubic Defense Applications San Diego, CA USA 858-505-2780 (Voice) 858-505-1583 (Fax) Military & Avionics EMC Is Our Specialty ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
