Then you can run real traffic through them. If you test two switeches, connect them to each other. I also recommend using long cables, since Ethernet is defined to operate to 100m cable. You don't need all that length, but sufficient to radiate efficiently at 30 MHz. If the switches don't have some built-in capability of generating traffic, you'll need to connect them to something that will do it. Smartbits is a typical device used, but a PC/NIC may also be configured for it, if you can have control over it. BTW, typical emission in 100 Mps and Gps modes is about the same (+/- a little) with link-only and with "real" traffic. In 10 Mps mode, the emission is strongly dependant on the data pattern, so make sure you use a pattern that is random and does meet the requirements from 55022. I have never seen anyone actually verifying that the pattern meets these requirements, but my experience is that people use random pattern.
