General Duties:
Develops, evaluates, and improves operational methods, policies and
procedures in compliance with ISO 17025 and good laboratory practices to
provide testing, consulting, and trouble shooting for products pursuant to
compliance with North American and international regulatory standards.
Direct activities of lab personnel to conduct tests to evaluate safety
levels and recommend measures to reduce or eliminate hazards for customer.
Responsible for overseeing, supervision, evaluation, individual growth and
development of staff.  Establish working relationships with certifying
bodies to meet customer requirements and enhance range of services provided
by DLS CA. Collaborate with Management to develop business plans with
specific and measurable goals.. Schedule testing operations, calibration and
functioning of equipment and resolve operating difficulties.  Assist
engineers in interpreting and applying standards/guidelines and evaluate
equipment design and specifications.  When required assist in performing
tests.  
 
Education:  Provide evidence of a Bachelors degree in EET or EE along with a
minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.  Two years of
management experience.
