That works for "linear" systems. But, alas, high voltage
is often nonlinear. Should not extrapolate.
Whenever I get into these kinds of areas the words of Prof
Ron Bracewell still ring in my ears, "...those measurements
are a little like predicting the distance to a curb by
measuring the slope in the center of the street."
