Jim, Yes, CCC and BSMI marks are definitely required for power supplies. While we're in the region, here are the other special power supply approvals... Japan - PSE S. Korea - EK Singapore - PSB w registration number Others are not required with a CB report (Malaysia (?- maybe it's Philippines) and one other have country standards and marks but if you have CB, that works too)

(TM) >>> <[email protected]> 08/18/05 10:29AM >>> Dear group, I have been offline for several months, so please excuse me if this is a repeat topic. We have received some information that power cubes (Limited power source, 220V in, 24Vdc out) need CCC for safety in China, and BSMI for safety in Taiwan. Our products have their own safety certifications to the IEC60950 type standard (with whatever national deviations are relevant). I have had a difficult time confirming that the independent power supply requires these approvals. Has anyone needed to address this, and confirmed (or not) the need for the approvals? Thank you.
