While I do not operate an accredited lab, I would have expected that the only
credible options are 2 or 4. Option 2 may be sufficient if there are no
corrections or calibration factors to worry about, but if there are any error
corrections or calibration factors then I can see no alternative to Option 4,
an Accredited Calibration Certificate and Report.

Subject: Calibration Cert and Report for New Equipment?

Dear All,

My company's EMC test laboratory is preparing for ISO17025 Accreditation. In
view of this, when we purchase new test equipment, is it sufficient to have
the following accompanied:

1) Traceable Calibration certificate only? or

2) Accredited Calibration certificate only? Or

3) Traceable calibration certificate and calibration report? Or

4) Accredited Calibration certificate and calibration report?

Many equipment only comes with item (1). My concern if it is sufficient for
ISO17025.

Please advise. Thanks.

Regards,

Wendy Nya
