What a circus. It wasn't a 'circus' (and I'm not directly involved in CISPR/I, so I'm not defensive). A genuine but very serious mistake was made. This threw out the synchronization (well, plesiochronization) of CISPR and CENELEC standards. It took a l--o--n--g time to sort out. Such events are bound to occur occasionally, even though once is too often. An IEC/CISPR maintenance cycle can be anything for 2 to 12 years, but 2 years is almost impossible, given the time required for comment and voting. -- OOO - Own Opinions Only.
