I would recommend that, also. IEC 60127 fuses are rated by *carrying* 
current, not *fusing* current.

But the inrush current will probably be doubled (depending on the 
design).  It is likely that a 'T' type fuse is necessary, and the 
breaking current rating also need to be considered.  An 'H' or 'E' 
rating is likely to be necessary.
