Kim, EN55011 is a product family standard (although often used as a basic standard, including by the generic standard EN 61000-6-4), which clearly encompasses your product, so is the correct standard to apply and as a product family standard takes precedence over the generic standard.
In the absence of a specific immunity standard, I would suggest that you apply the generic immunity standard, EN61000-6-2. Best regards Neil R. The equipment is for spark treatment of plastic surfaces (to make the surface accept glue, paint etc.) The product could be a accepted as an EN 61000-6-4 generic industrial equipment, but when in spark mode the A limit is not enough. EN 55011 have a Group 2 Class A for amongst other spark erosion equipment. The equipment will pass the requirements for this group. Can I use EN 55011 as a product standard (normally I think of it as a basically standard) and if so what is the immunity standard then ?
