Ghery, CISPR 11 is specifically for ISM RF equipment. It only applies to equipment that intentionally radiates in the ISM bands and should not therefore be quoted for other equipment. My point is that 61326-1:2005 calls (in my opinion, incorrectly) CISPR 11 for all equipment types, when it ought to be CISPR 16 for the non-ISM stuff. Dave C.

Pettit _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Thursday, September 07, 2006 12:14 AM To: [email protected] Subject: IEC/EN 61326 & CISPR stds Group, The previous version of 61326 (1997) referred out to CISPR 16 for emissions tests, except for intentional ISM frequency producing equipment, in which case it calls CISPR 11. In the latest version of 61326-1(2005) para 7.2 references out to CISPR 11 for emissions tests, but still has a separate para for ISM equipment, where it references (if correct, pointlessly) to CISPR 11 again. I believe this is an error and should be, as before, CISPR 16 and CISPR 11 for ISM equipment only. Or have I got it wrong somehow?
