Hello James, Rather than going through this country by country, I suggest that you contact a global power cord manufacturer and ask these questions. Feller and Volex are good starts and they have the knowledge to answer these questions accurately. Also, many companies, through their ERP systems, have addressed power cord localization. Ideally you would configure a product and somewhere along the supply chain add the appropriate power cord(s) to the product. Ron Wellman

Alternatively, what is the groups experience in using <HAR> cord sets, as opposed to cord sets with individual approvals? The <HAR> option is not available to cord set manufacturers outside of the EU, and my engineering group would like to know if we will run into problems since the cord set must be acceptable in the country of installation.
