Where did you get these date of 20 July 2007 & 20 July 2008 for 2006/95/EC?
This New LVD directive is officially release on 12 December 2006, and enter
into fore on 16 January 2007.

Or are you referring to New EMC directive?

That is usually a convenient opportunity, but not until after 20 July 
2007.

I have suggested that it might look odd if you haven't changed by 20 
July 2008. The Directive doesn't give any indication of a time-scale.
