We've been on the same page all along, John. My approach to Jody's post has been to look at what the standard says and let any failure of logic or design sense fall out from the readers' thoughts. That's the way the standard is written. Having been involved in standards writing as long as you have, I'm sure this isn't the first failure of logic you've seen in the process. Regards, Peter L.
