Thanks for your advice on history of the directive. I need to know if the result is considered acceptable if the material was tested to RoHS Directive that includes the four restricted substances at different acceptable level. In relation to reduction of waste there are three EU Directives relevant to packaging: * 2005/20/EC * 94/62/EC * 2004/12/EC. In 2005, Directive 2005/20/EC amended Directive 94/62/EC. Per 2005/20/EC, the sum of concentration levels of heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium) present in the packaging components shall not exceed 100 ppm by weight. Refer to the Directives for details.
