A customer would like a 10Vdc/8A contact to be exposed to the end user. I would like to say no because this would not meet the requirement for an LCC ckt.
But as I read from the sacred scrolls of 60950-1, it was noted that if the exposed part is not at a Hazardous voltage (reliably SELV) or energy level, that there is no requirement for it to be LCC if the device is Class I construction and there is no cap bridging the reinforced insulation.
