Indeed, but it's still a source of confusion. The EN Generics define a 
'residential, commercial and light industrial environment', which leads 
to the question of whether 'residential' is identical to 'domestic' or 
not. A hotel might be 'residential' but is not 'domestic'.

In fact, 'domestic' shouldn't be used in an IEC standard because there 
are translation problems (e.g. it means something very different in 
'gross domestic product' - not an enormous refrigerator or a very ugly 
vacuum cleaner!)- the preferred word is 'household'.
