Ian, everyone Not a DoC (no conformity assessment required), but as I said, good engineering practices documentation for EMC-significant changes to existing installations, and all new fixed installations, from 20 July.
Houses are fixed installations (see May 2007 EC Guide, 1.3.1) but most will contain only compliant apparatus that is placed on the market. 4.2 of the EC Guide shows that for installations comprised solely of compliant apparatus, the responsible person satisfies the documentation requirements by being able to provide, on request, the instructions for installation, use and maintenance provided by the supplier of each apparatus.
