I'm just the cheeky messenger; take your beef up with the Shanghai Daily. The story doesn't say "personal computer," but does mention "student." Could've been a school project that used an open-frame power supply. Bruises and blood in the nose were findings, and though implied, were not explicitly stated as related to the electric shock. Could be from reactions associated with the electric shock (flailing at the desk), >from sports earlier in the day or for neglecting payment to the local loan shark for that nifty computer (paint your own picture).
