Grace, I'm not sure what setup standard you use for Conducted Emissions, but in ANSI C63.4-2001 section 6.1.4 figure 10a (3.3), it states that the LISN has to be within 80cm of the nearest part of the EUT chassis. So for table top products where the table top is 80cm above the ground plane, the LISN cannot be below the ground plane or this measurement cannot be met. We also perform conducted emissions at our OATS so we have to bring our LISNs to the EUT. We had a special cart made that is very low to the ground. We just roll the cart in, bond the LISN to the floor, hook up the coaxes and test. The setup only takes a few minutes. If the setup standard has been changed to allow the LISN to be further from the EUT, please let me know. Locating the LISN under the floor would speed things up. The Other Brian
