Need an opinion on the following; We have taken a nationally know LAN wireless access point product and incorporated it in to our product. The OME product has not been touched, the entire package (antenna, case etc.) is incorporated in to ours and we connect to it by a cable. We have our own package with the access point and our own additional electronics in it. This access point has the necessary certifications from the manufacturer for all markets we will be selling in.
Question: do we need to get "intentional radiator" Certification for our product, or can we just use the OEM certification in conjunction with our standard set of EMC data (see below) Radiated Emissions < 1GHz - IEC 55022 Radiated Emissions > 1 GHz - 47CFR/FCC part 15 Conducted Emissions - IEC 55022 Radiated Immunity - IEC 61000-4-3 Conducted Immunity - IEC 61000-4-6 EFT - IEC 61000-4-4 Surge - IEC 61000-4-5 Voltage dips - IEC 61000-4-11 Voltage Interruptions - IEC 61000-4-11 Flicker - IEC 61000-3-3 ESD - IEC 61000-4-2 Thank you for you guidance.
