Such a proposal is not in 77B/563/CDV which is out for vote until May 23. This CDV creates Edition 2.0 of IEC 61000-4-2. It still calls for the insulator to be .5 mm, +/- 10%.

I've looked in RS and Farnell and their plastics materials all seem to be too thick. Does this matter?
