List members, I'm looking for some guidance concerning a CQC initial factory inspection. I'm working with a very small company that is bidding a job that requires CCC. Their fear is that they will bid and win this job and then be slammed with costly CQC factory inspection problems. This company doesn't have a quality system in place such as ISO 9001. How deep into the quality system side of factory operations should I expect Chinese CQC factory inspectors to go? Does a company need to effectively have ISO 9001 compliant procedures in place or is the CQC inspection more akin to a UL initial factory inspection? What kind of experiences have you had with this process?
