Oh, It’s very useful, but the information from the website should be update frequently, likes the EMC, RF, safety approval, in South-Korea, they were instead by KC mark. What means KC mark will cover RF, EMC and Safety.

Hi Bob, There is not requirment for EMC. If it’s a radio transmitter device, it’s require SIRIM approval; For the safety aspect, you can use CB report instead. Regards Tim From: Sykes, Bob [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 08, 2011 10:03 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [PSES] EMC/Certification requirements for Malaysia? Worldly Experts, I am trying to determine what (if any) EMC requirements exist for Malaysia. The product in question is a commercial ITE (computing device) with optional RFID reader (13.56 MHz). Google has not been my friend on this one. Lots of hits relating to the company named EMC Malaysia though. It also appears (to me) that searching the listserv archives is no longer a simple task since changing to the new host. I haven't been able to figure that one out. I'd be most grateful for any pointers. adTHANKSvance, Bob Sykes Please be advised that this email may contain confidential information.
