Hi Bob,

There is not requirment for EMC.

If it’s a radio transmitter device, it’s require SIRIM approval; For the
safety aspect, you can use CB report instead.

Regards

Tim

Subject: [PSES] EMC/Certification requirements for Malaysia?

Worldly Experts,

I am trying to determine what (if any) EMC requirements exist for Malaysia.
The product in question is a commercial ITE (computing device) with optional
RFID reader (13.56 MHz).

Google has not been my friend on this one. Lots of hits relating to the
company named EMC Malaysia though. It also appears (to me) that searching the
listserv archives is no longer a simple task since changing to the new host.
I haven't been able to figure that one out.

I'd be most grateful for any pointers.

adTHANKSvance,

Bob Sykes
