Are you talking about the location of the receptacle your device will plug
into or where your power cord comes out the back of your product?

Subject: Power line connections

Group,

After the installation of a new product in Italy, we are being told that there
is a technical detail that appears not in line with the official
recommendation of the European Community.

The power line MUST be located at a minimum of 30 cm up from the floor.

Can anyone provide substantiation of the 30mm claim?

Providing the source would also be a big plus.

Even “I am not aware of that” answers would be helpful. (Privately if
desired).

Thank you.
