I assume your product maybe considered a machine or a product that could be used in a factory or in an industrial environment. I’m not an expert in this area but I recall a requirement to keep AC Mains wiring a certain distance off the floor in factory machines where it is common to have the floor washed with high pressured water. I’m not sure if this requirement is covered in the EN 60204 or only in local electric codes. Sorry this wasn’t the specific answer you were looking for. The product is conduit connected, and the concern is the internal hook up terminal block. We did consider that this might be Italy only, but the notice included the reference to “the official recommendation of the European Community”. The power line MUST be located at a minimum of 30 cm up from the floor. Can anyone provide substantiation of the 30cm claim? Providing the source would also be a big plus.
