I thought IT equipment was tested to 6Ghz. Maybe not.
For EN 61326-1:2006 EMC requirements for measurement, control and laboratory use. Basic Requirements IEC 61000-4-3 3 V/m (80 MHz to 1 GHz) 3 V/m (1,4 GHz to 2 GHz) 1 V/m (2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz) Industrial Environments IEC 61000-4-3 10 V/m (80 MHz to 1 GHz) 3 V/m (1,4 GHz to 2 GHz) 1 V/m (2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz) EM Controlled Environments IEC 61000-4-3 1 V/m (80 MHz to 1 GHz) 1 V/m (1,4 GHz to 2 GHz) 1 V/m (2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz Because we can, we test all our products to 4.2Ghz at 10V/m. It is extremely rare that we see any problems above 1Ghz. The latest 61000-4-3 basic standard does mention test frequency above 1GHz (up to 6GHz). Thank you and look forward to hearing from you.
