I am looking for update on IEC 62133 standard for rechargeable batteries in ICT equipment. I know the implementation was delayed from the original schedule.
• Until June 25, 2010, batteries can be tested to UL 1642 without additional testing. • After June 25, 2010 until June 26, 2011 batteries tested to UL 1642 will require additional testing on identified differences to ensure compliance with IEC 62133 • After June 27, 2011 batteries must be certified to IEC 62133 Any information would be helpful.
