Dear Group I am seeking assistance to identify a very unusual RF flange connector. I can send photographs to anyone that thinks they can identify it. They are used on old equipment in the 2.4 GHz band and I believe are 50 ohm.
The connector appears to be designed to enable modules to be assembled as a push fit. A clamp is then fitted over the connector assembly to hold the parts together. There is a different male and female part, the female connector has a nylon insert showing. I reckon these are an old system now discontinued. I have Googled RF connectors and the closest that I see to it is a connector called EIA flange connector. These are shown at bookrags.com Many thanks for any assistance given.
