Sorry. Was on vacation for a couple days. I used to work for a PC Manufacturer where the safety lab had to test the strength of the LCD screens used in their notebook computers. We would sit the LCD on a flat surface; sit a small disc on the center of the LCD then place a bucket of sand on top of the disc. The bucket of sand was of a specific weight which our safety inspectors required it to be calibrated.
The LCD almost always broke during this test but it would show if the user was exposed to any hazard. That is my calibrated bucket of sand story. Hope you enjoyed it.
