>From receiving and remounting many items from customers, the pallets we've seen vary from 8-30cm of separation, completely dependent on the shipping weight and how well the product is thought to travel. If the standards were to say: manufacturer's standard pallet or 10cm. I (and my back) would go for that, but there isn't a basis in repeatable science then is there? Kind of like making 30MHz measurements of ISM devices at a 3m distance.
