Sir,

Please note the second or third page of the existing EMC report, where
there will be a reference to the body, test lab location, and the names of
the report writer/tester and the reviewer. The people in the referenced
report and any internal EMC/compliance experts at Texas Instruments could
provide better guidance than any outsider.

Accepting advise from people like me will get you into trouble.

R/S,
Brian

Subject: FCC wireless filings

I am in need of some guidance ...

We have an 802.11 B/G wireless product (an access point). One of our major
sub-assembly suppliers is changing the module they provide. We have tested
the new module in our product for emissions and it exceeds the performance
of the previous unit. As a result the engineers want to change to this
new module. What paper work (and supporting test documentation) is
necessary for filing with the FCC, IC and European agencies for this type
of change?

Thanks
