Hi Brian, I've tested a variety of "60 to 100 W equivalent" CFL and LED lamps. They all have SMPSs built in to their bases with a varying quality of filtering. While most of the lamps are made in China, in general the U.S. brands are not too bad for RE or CE, however, I'd stay away from the off-branded lamps. Exceptions were the Philips 12E26A60 and Sylvania UltraPro PAR30, which had increased RE in the area 120 to 400 MHz. Note that all the lamps tested met class A (and probably class B) limits with good margins, however, you'll contaminate your readings in a chamber if these lamps are left on during the testing. The Utilitech and Satco brands were especially bad for CE.
