Dear list members,

A bit out of It seems that the Construction Product Directive, CPD,
(89/106/EEC) covers traffic sign, as some standards for traffic signs are
published under the CPD. For instance EN 12352 (Warning and safety light)
and EN 12966-1 (Road traffic signs – Variable message traffic signs).

I have difficulties with the definition of “traffic signs” and wonder if for
instance a unit for counting pedestrians, bikers or cars is a “traffic
sign”.

Does somebody have a good link to something like a guideline for the CPD, or
link to other information concerning this directive?

Regards,

Niels Hougaard
