The voltage rating on a fuse, if I remember correctly, addresses the ability of 
the voltage source to arc across the gap formed when the fuse ruptures and the 
700 V rating would be insufficient in an 840 V circuit.

The maximum DC bus voltage on our units is 840 VDC.

I found UL recognized DC 700 V category fuses and rated  current starting from 
35 A to 315 A.

Could anyone suggest  700 VDC  voltage category enough for our 840 VDC units?
