When the arc forms, the maximum power in the arc is
the rated voltage of the fuse times the rated
interrupt current.

Both E and I are important for a "safe" (non-explosive)
operation.

The maximum DC bus voltage on our units is 840 VDC.

I found UL recognized DC 700 V category fuses and rated current starting from 35 A to 315 A.

Could anyone suggest 700 VDC voltage category enough for our 840 VDC units?
