A mandatory program to be......ECO-directive
Earlier codes for telephone chargers and standby consumer equipment have become a harmonized regulation too : EUP directive This site is the first one I found with a nice overview. Not related, not verified for correctness and on your own risk... http://www.powerint.com/en/green-room/agencies/ec-eup-eco-directive Gert Gremmen Van: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Verzonden: maandag 13 januari 2014 19:19 Aan: [email protected] Onderwerp: Re: [PSES] New EU Code of Conduct Thank you Kris, So this is not a mandatory program then? -----Original Message----- From: Carpentier Kristiaan <[email protected]> To: peterhays <[email protected]>; EMC-PSTC <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, Jan 13, 2014 10:13 am Subject: RE: [PSES] New EU Code of Conduct http://iet.jrc.ec.europa.eu/energyefficiency/sites/energyefficiency/file s/files/documents/ICT_CoC/code_of_conduct_for_eps_version_5_-_final.pdf A voluntary program, also referenced by the recently published Code of Conduct Broadband v5. Best regards, Kris Carpentier From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: maandag 13 januari 2014 18:45 To: [email protected] Subject: [PSES] New EU Code of Conduct Happy New Year all I have a question that I was hoping you could assist me with the answer or point me to where I may be able to get the answer. We have been told by a couple of NRTL that the new requirements from EU concerning external power supplies energy efficiency have been changed as of January 2014 and the new requirements that covers minimum efficiency and standby power has become more stringent. They are not able to give us more information and I have not been able to get anything on the web yet. Are you guys aware of this new rule? thank you Peter - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
