I have a 19 inch yard-sale LCD TV hooked up to my Advantest R3261A (not a "more modern" instrument). It flickers once in a while, but that doesn't matter for my use. A local firm, "Comprenew," has 48 and 96 inch wall mounted but analog ("not guaranteed to work") TV's/displays for pocket change. No thanks, but imagine the effect when the customers see your readout. 1 dB/cm resolution, no problem.

(We wont' speak to accuracy, will we? The 3261 "measures" dB to two decimal places...)
