In WEEE Directive, it requires crossed-out wheeled bin symbol according to EN 50419 : 2006 on the product. This symbol looks very similar to the one required in Battery Directive 2006/66/EC. Unfortunately the battery directive does not provide the applicable standard so it is unsure if they are the same symbol or different. If different, how do we mark this symbol accurately on the battery?
