It my professional recommendation is that the Kalifornia wines be considered
HAZMAT. Mr. Woodgate should pursue the local 'micro-brew' ales - the better
microbreweries are in to the south in San Diego County.

And Mr. Woodgate will arrive in time to experience the end of a mild 'Santa
Ana' - but temps should be under 38C. Good time to verify ESD immunity of your
equipment.

John:
First, my sympathies in that you have to go to LA: the Bay Area's weather will
be much better by comparison. As soon as you leave Customs/TSA, consider buying
a good bottle of California wine.  With the lead, sulfites  & other
unmentionables (Acetaldehyde, Dimethyl Dicarbonate, Trypsin, etc.) in the wine,
you & your lead John, will look good by comparison!  And, you may be able to
hail a taxi faster with wine in hand...

People contain carcinogens, and I am going to LA next week. Will I have
to carry a sign?
