All, In reviewing the details it is possible the UL committee followed the IEC standard a little closer than I had thought. The table of contents at http://ulstandards.ul.com/standard/?id=61800-5-1_1 has no indicaiton of such a test but the IEC versoin of teh standard has clause 5.2.7 for hydrostatic test. the UL standard seems to skip over this. It seems a bit crazy the committee would toss out whole sections and then call the standard harmonized.
