I found the Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU. For Standards it refers to IMO Standards. In searching through the IMO Standards, they seem to be more guidelines for how to use equipment vs evaluating the equipment for safety, etc. Any guidance in finding Standards for Marine Equipment would be appreciated.
