Hi All -

I was wondering if someone can help point me in the
right direction.

I have been using EMC with steppers and homemade
driver boards for sometime now and things were working
so so (not enogh motor power for CNC milling)

I decided to convert to a servo setup and its been
tough...

I have a Mesa Electronis M5i20 board connected to a
7i30 board (Mesa)

"The 7I30 is a 3A, 36V 4 channel H-bridge motor driver
for the 4I27, 4I34, 4I65, 5I20 and 7I60 motion
controllers."

These are connected to DC Brush motors and a 12V 7A
power supply.

Here's where I need assistance... I have the encoders
working but no power to the motors, jogging causes
following errors no matter what jog rate I use.

I have tried various inputs to the follwing variables
but I can't drive the motors:

MAX_OUTPUT =            10
DEADBAND =              0.000015 - .002
P =                     150
I =                     100
D =                     0.15

I have a Mesa Diagnostics board connected to the setup
and when I jog the X-axis the LED for DAC-00-ouput
(pin-15, IO7) comes on for a brief moment and then I
get a following error.

No matter what I set MAX_OUTPUT to halscope only shows
a signal of 1v/div.

Thanks in advance.
