There are a few 5114 drivers up there now.

Even if they are cw/ccw pulse driven I think I can just gate the
step and direction signals out of emc to arrive at a format the Vexta wants.

However am I correct in assuming that the Vexta drivers are 
not constant current type drivers?  Will I be missing out on some extra torque 
(as opposed to converting to a common bipolar motor
with a modern controller based on the Allegro chip)?
